GE Additive

GE Aviation, a world-wide leading provider of jet engines, components, and integrated systems for commercial and military aircraft, has found West Chester Township an attractive place to innovate and do business and continues to invest in the community.  In 2014, GE Aviation Additive Technology consolidated multiple sites throughout the region and created a new state-of-the-art 150,000 square-foot research and development center at 9701 Windisch Road in West Chester Township.  At this center, GE Aviation Additive Technology conducts cutting-edge research into advanced manufacturing 3D technologies. The research and development center was an $11 million project and brought approximately 130 new manufacturing jobs to West Chester.  

In September 2019, GE Additive, a division of GE Aviation, which pioneers additive technology, sometimes known as 3D Printing, leased a 171,537 square-foot facility at 8556 Trade Center Drive in the West Chester Trade Center off Union Centre Boulevard.  The new location - with room for up to 200 GE Additive team members - will bring together teams currently located in three locations in the area under one roof. Technology and engineering teams, GE Additive AddWorks consultants, as well as commercial operations and functional teams, will all be based at the dynamic site.  The West Chester Trade Center site is slated to open 4th quarter 2020. 

Fameccanica North America

SugarCreek

Barnes Aerospace

Expression Therapeutics

Expression Therapeutics, a biotechnology manufacturer, opened a 42,550 square-foot facility at 4692 Brate Drive in the West Chester Trade Center.  Expression Therapeutics’ technologies include advanced gene therapies for hemophilia, neuroblastoma, leukemia/lymphoma and more.  The mission at Expression Therapeutics is to develop gene therapies that will dramatically improve the lives of patients.  Expression Therapeutics is one of the few biotechnology companies with its own therapeutic pipeline and in-house manufacturing capabilities to provide contract development and manufacturing organization services to commercial clients.  

Faxon Firearms

Faxon Firearms, a premier manufacturer of firearms and firearm accessories, relocated to a 16,000 square-foot manufacturing facility at 4348 Le Saint Court.  Faxon Firearms, a division of Faxon Machining, was started in Cincinnati in 1978 and serves a wide range of industries such as defense, aerospace, medical, automotive, oil and energy.  Faxon Firearms engineers and manufactures complete upper receivers to fit military specifications.  Faxon Firearms focuses on providing new and innovative products that set the standard for the rest of the industry.  

Grimco, Inc.

GE Credit Union

GE Credit Union, a full-service, not-for-profit financial institution offering credit cards, mortgages, checking accounts and more, announced it will construct a new 4,000 square-foot branch at 7560 Foster Lane in The Oaks of Wetherington off Liberty Way in West Chester Township.  Chartered in 1954 for employees of General Electric Aircraft Engines, GE Credit Union has become one of the largest credit unions in the state of Ohio.  Since then, GE Credit Union has opened membership to anyone in the Greater Cincinnati area.  Being a member of GE Credit Union means more than just banking, it means being part of a community with access to solid financial solutions that put the shareholders first.   

West Chester Surgical Suites

West Chester Surgical Suites, a new ambulatory surgical center, will open a 6,984 square-foot medical facility at 8734 Union Centre Boulevard in the Lakota West Professional Buildings.  West Chester Surgical Suites will feature surgical and anesthetic services including multiple operating rooms, care service facilities, pre-op and recovery areas, as well as multiple treatment rooms for imaging, laser and other non-evasive procedures that do not require an overnight stay.  

Telhio Credit Union

Telhio Credit Union, a not-for-profit, full-service financial institution, announced it will relocate and expand its existing West Chester branch operations to a new 5,831 square-foot facility it will construct at 8249 Market Place Drive in Hutzelman Square off Princeton Glendale Road/SR 747.  Telhio Credit Union has been a strong and stable financial institution in central Ohio since 1934.  Telhio began as a credit union for Columbus Telephone Company employees and the group has now expanded the vision to serve people who live or work in Butler, Hamilton, Warren, Preble, Franklin, Fairfield, Delaware, Union, Pickaway, Licking and Madison counties.  Telhio Credit Union also serves Select Employer Groups in a variety of industries including accounting, automotive, manufacturing, medical, real estate and communications.
