WEST CHESTER TWP.

A Butler County company recently expanded its operations by moving to a larger facility.

West Chester-based Anest Iwata USA, a leading Japanese manufacturer of engineered solutions for air compressors and coating equipment for more than 90 years, relocated its West Chester-based North American headquarters to a 23,664-square-foot facility it purchased at 10148 Commerce Park Drive in Schumacher Commerce Park.

The North American subsidiary of the Japanese company, which produces parts for air compressors and spray paint coating equipment, has been headquartered in West Chester since 2006, according to Nicolle Williams, marketing manager for Anest Iwata USA.

It previously shared a space with a sister company, Williams said.

Anest Iwata USA isn’t the only international business expanding to or within West Chester Twp. this year.

The company’s customers include Honda and Toyota Motor Corporations.

German-based DMG Mori USA, which specializes in metal cutting, relocated to a 14,660 square-foot office and showroom facility at 9415 Meridian Way in World Park at Union Centre.

The company specializes in high-tech CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines and advanced technologies such as Ultrasonic and Lasertec as well as software solutions and systems.
