Seven from West Chester among Cincinnati's 'Top Workplaces'

Congrats to area businesses, companies and organizations who were recognized for high levels of satisfaction among their employees.

Of the 125 businesses named to the Cincinnati Enquirer’s annual list of top workplaces, seven are based in West Chester Township.

For nine years, the Enquirer has surveyed employees of area organizations about their job satisfaction and ranked the top places to work accordingly. This year’s Top Workplaces Cincinnati list spotlights 125 businesses, companies and organizations ranked across three categories: large (500 or more employees); mid-size (150 to 249 employees) and small-size (149 or less employees). 

“For the rankings, employers are placed into groups of similar size, because smaller employers tend to score higher than midsize employers, and midsize employers tend to score higher than large employers,” the Enquirer reports. 

Congratulations to the following West Chester employers on making the list in 2018: 

  • Kingsgate Logistics LLC ranked No. 1 of 65 in the small-size company division and received “best in show” recognition for strong leadership.
  • Pitt Ohio ranked No. 7 of 45 in the mid-size company division. The transportation/trucking company first made the list in 2016.
  • UC Health West Chester Hospital ranked No. 12 of 15 in the large company division and was the only hospital recognized among companies with 500 employees or more, according to a release.
  • Planes Companies ranked No. 18 of 45 in the mid-size company division, earning recognition for a sixth consecutive year.
  • ClarkDietrich Building Systems ranked No. 32 of 65 in the small-size company division, making the list of Top Workplaces for the first time.
  • E-Technologies Group ranked No. 37 of 65 in the small-size company division, making the list of Top Workplaces for the first time.
  • Besse Medical ranked No. 59 of 65 in the small-size company division, earning recognition for the second consecutive year.
